Our management team is made up of the following individuals:
Graham Edwards, Marketing & Corporate Development
Graham manages Marketing & Corporate Development activities for Monitor Benefits. Graham has specialized in building new technology businesses since the mid-1980s. He has consulted to and worked for a wide array of large technology leaders from Intel, Microsoft, Accenture, and Qualcomm to nimble technology innovators such as AirWave Wireless, MobileQ (now ViaFone), mySimon (now c|net), iSilk, Inc., and Jacobs Rimell Ltd., among others.
Graham is also a founding investor of Enlighten Ventures, an early-stage technology investment fund that has seen 2 of its first 3 investments achieve successful liquidity events (including Trigo, purchased by IBM this past spring).
Prior to Monitor Benefits, Graham directed the business development and investment activities for Intel's Information Technology Group, was the IT group’s liaison to Intel Capital, and was a co-creator of Intel Online Services ($100M+ Intel investment). Before Intel, Graham ran business development for Tricord Systems an $80MM, publicly traded (NASDAQ: TRCD) technology company, was a senior line consultant for Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), and was a founder of Pacific Rim Capital, where he managed marketing and sales.
Graham's areas of functional expertise are general operations management, product marketing, channel sales, and information technology operations. Graham has participated in the financing of over 20 companies and has participated in several mergers and acquisitions.
Graham is an honors graduate of Harvard College.
David Sloves, Sales & Finance
David manages Sales and Finance for Monitor Benefits. David has been a successful technology entrepreneur since the early 1980s. He has founded a series of businesses focused on creating innovative tools and processes aimed at delivering repeatable, cost-effective solutions to complex business problems. He has partnered with industry leaders including platform software providers such as Microsoft and Lotus/IBM (both for more than 20 years); hardware and infrastructure providers such as HP, IBM, Intel, Cisco, Enterasys and Nortel (all for more than 10 years); and a wide range of smaller, high growth firms working through systems integration and VAR partnerships.
David previously founded and was the President and CEO of Desktop Products (a regional systems integrator and distributor that grew to greater than $35-million in revenue, successfully created and sold-off several operating units and employed more than 70 people).
David founded and was the President and CEO of Senterprise (an application service provider that received over $3-million in equity funding and employed more than 30 people). He has managed large-scale projects and outsourcing programs for enterprise clients including Applied Materials, Bechtel, Chiron, City and County of San Francisco, Genentech, Industrial Risk Insurance, Lam Research, Macy’s, Montgomery Securities (now Bank of America Securities), Prudential (now Wachovia), Wells Fargo Bank and West America Bank.
David is an honors graduate in International Economics from Claremont McKenna College.
